Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her most famous work is her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful It Is Where I Leave You, as well in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. Amantha is the lead in Rectify the Sundance Channel Drama series. Abigail Leigh Spencer - an American actress whose work includes both film and TV - is an acclaimed TV actress. Her fame was based on her role in Rectify (a drama) as well as Timeless (a science fiction). The native of Gulf Breeze She began her professional career as a soap star in the show All My Children. In recognition of her performance she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award as the most outstanding female newcomer. She was a frequent guest throughout her time on TV programs. She was recognized for the role she played as Dr. Erin Jameson, in the TV show Hawthorne. Due to her stunning appearance and her acting skills her character slowly garnered an enormous fan base. In the film Campfire Stones, she played a part when she was just 20 years old. The other films she's appeared in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. The role she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the past, she played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer was praised from critics about her performance in the sci-fi TV series Timeless. Spencer received nominations for a Teen Choice Award.
